Andy Beck undertook a figure of eight walk on February 29, 2012, through two lesser-known fells—Sale Fell and Ling Fell—in the Lake District’s North Western area for his Wainwrights in Colour project. Starting from Brumston Bridge, he documented his journey using a Samsung WB500 camera. This easy route can also be divided into separate walks for each fell, making it suitable for families. Andy’s path included scenic views and notable landmarks such as Dodd Crag and old grouse butts, ultimately returning to the starting point.

On April 27, 2022, a circular walk around Roseberry Topping in North Yorkshire Moors National Park was carried out. Starting from a pay and display car park, the path followed an interesting circular route to the summit and back, featuring stunning views, historical sites like the Grade II listed Shooting Box, and remnants of quarrying history. Despite less ideal weather for photography, the journey offered enriching sights and a pleasant walking experience.
