New! Swaledale sheep prints

Swaledale sheep print set

New! Swaledale sheep prints. At last I have been able to get the set of Swaledale Sheep paintings printed and mounted. These three watercolour paintings have been very well received on social media over the recent months and now I am able to offer them as a set of prints.

I have decided to present them as a montage of the three images in one 20″ x 16″ mount. This way it gives a representation of this breed of hardy upland sheep. In addition it also is more interesting and different from just one picture in a frame.

I have decided to use a thick mount which gives a nice depth to the bevelled apertures. These images are not available individually and the prints are limited to a single edition of only 75 copies and each set comes with a certificate of authenticity. They will not be available in other sizes or editions.

There are plans to produce other breeds in a similar format in the near future. If you have a favourite type of sheep, cattle etc then why not comment or drop me and email with a suggestion or idea.

The original paintings are sold

Andy Beck-

Having been a professional artist since leaving the Royal Air Force Regiment in 1988 Andy Beck has now become well known for his recent major project- The Wainwrights in Colour which has seen him exploring the Lakeland Fells to capture all the scenes in Wainwright’s Pictorial guides. Up until early 2013 Andy ran The Teesdale Gallery in the heart of Barnard Castle, County Durham which he did for 20 years. Reluctantly he had to close the gallery so that he could concentrate his efforts on completing the project. This has given him the freedom to paint at home in his studio or go out gathering references for his work. Andy lives in Teesdale in the north Pennines of England.
