Best of February 2020

There’s another month off the calendar. And what a month is has been. Usually at this time of year here in the north pennines we can expect periods of cold, frosty weather with a bit of snow thrown in for good measure. Like most of the rest of the country this month we had more than our fair share of rain. The ground is generally saturated but hopefully some dry days with a stiff breeze will soon dry out the pastures and paths.

Yet again I was able to get out every day, nearly always locally here in Teesdale. From early mornings to catch the sunrise to late evenings as the day departed.

Once again, here is just a small selection of the images that I have recorded throughout the month. Some of them may look familiar if you follow me on social media or even if you live locally and have seen a few of the images on the regional BBC weather.

As with all of my work the images are available as prints or for use under license commercially or for editorial purposes. Just contact me via email for information.
