October will see Andy give his popular talk on the Wainwrights in Colour at the Armitt Museum in Ambleside.
As many of you will know, Andy regularly gives his presentation The Wainwrights in Colour to various groups around the country. The talk enables Andy to fill in extra details about the whole ten year project, many of which just could not feature in the book due to limited space.
As part of the Wainwright Exhibition, Andy has been asked to give his talk on the evening of Friday 17th October starting at 6pm. The presentation includes images and footage from the project, not only about Andy’s unique undertaking painting all the Wainwright illustrations from the Pictorial Guides but also an insight in to the way Alfred Wainwright designed and produced these amazing and popular guidebooks.

Over the summer at various events and shows many people have enquired about attending one of these talks. Now is your chance if you are in the Ambleside area on the 17th October. Spaces in the Armitt Museum are limited so if you would like to book a ticket don’t leave it too late.
