The Best of March 2022

A selection of photographic images taken by Andy in the month of March 2022

I guess that I am not the only one who recently turned over the calendar pages from March to April and wondered where a quarter of the year had gone already? Frightening where the time goes to. I suppose that one of the bonuses is that the days are getting warmer and longer and Spring is well and truly here.

March was a mixed month weather-wise. Here in Teesdale it was fairly dry with quite a bit of sunshine. Lambs started to fill the fields and the grass was beginning to grow. However, it did have a sting in it’s tail. The very last few days of the month brought a cold north wind which brought heavy snow showers- known locally as “lambing snow”

Here is a selection of my images, once again taken locally as we are busy preparing for a busy season of events in the coming months. They are in no particular order. Click on any image to see the lightbox display.

As with all of my work the images are available as prints or for use under license commercially or for editorial purposes. Just contact me via email for further information.

If you have enjoyed this selection then why not take a look at the Best of February 2022 here.

Thanks for looking.
