I don’t know about you, but to me the month of February just flew by. With shows and events fast approaching I stayed local for most of the month. This allowed me to spend more time in the studio working on new material. The weather was mixed to say the least. A little bit of the wintery weather but in the main it seemed to be mild and very windy.

Andy is the artist behind the award-winning book The Wainwrights in Colour. This 10 year project saw Andy producing a watercolour sketch of every illustration drawn by A.W. in his seven Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells. Every single location of the illustrations has been meticulously researched so that Andy’s references are taken from the exact location where A.W. stood to take his own black and white photographs.
The book is limited to 5000 copies only, each signed and numbered by Andy. It will make a special gift for book collectors or any lover of the Lake District.
