The print comes from Andy’s popular range of prints featuring the Lakeland Fells. By default, the free print will be of Wainwright’s favourite fell, Hay Stacks. If you would like to choose another print from the series then just have a look at the range here, pick a preferred option and then add it’s title in as a note on the order form when you purchase the book. The print will be included in the package with the book. It’s as simple as that.
*The print offer is just for the print only, not mounted or framed. The print image measures 5″x7″ and is designed to fit in a standard 10″x12″ frame with a mount.

This is the limited edition book of the impressive undertaking by Andy. He undertook to paint every single scene that Alfred Wainwright drew in the seven Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells. This meant not only painting the Wainwrights, all 214 of the fells, but also the illustrations from the guides, over 1500 of them.
The Wainwrights in Colour Book by Andy Beck is unique in that it won both The Outdoor Book of the Year Award from The Great Outdoors Magazine, but also the BBC Countryfile Magazine Book of the Year. An achievement not seen by another book before or since. It also made the shortlist for Lakeland Book of the year.

Don’t forget: Inside the back cover of every copy is a DVD. This is a seventeen minute film showing the background to the whole Wainwrights in Colour project. From the fluke of coming up with the idea, plotting all the locations, walking to those points, photographing them before returning to the studio to paint them all. All 1508 of them.
