This is the limited edition book of the impressive undertaking by Andy. He undertook to paint every single scene that Alfred Wainwright drew in the seven Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells.
The Wainwrights in Colour Book by Andy Beck is unique in that it won both The Outdoor Book of the Year Award from The Great Outdoors Magazine, but also the BBC Countryfile Magazine Book of the Year. An achievement not seen by another book before or since. It also made the shortlist for Lakeland Book of the year.
