Topographical features: The Wainwright summit is the rough cairn on the rib of rock. 10m to the east is a higher rock and is the true summit.

Points of interest: 

Tarns: 120m north east of the summit is an unnamed tarn a smaller pool lies close to it. 300m south of the summit is another small pool. There is a small man made reservoir at the head of Scope Beck.
