Three Sheds- Original Sketch
This is an original artwork by Teesdale artist Andy Beck. It has been produced using the pen and wash method, watercolour painting with a black pen outline. The sketch will feature as an illustration in a forthcoming book by Andy
Three Sheds. “This little cluster of buildings caught my eye regularly as I drove past them. They are located on the Moor Road, just outside Staindrop in County Durham. It is several years since I obtained the reference photograph, the tree growing up through the old gate on the left shed was part of the charm. In the intervening years they have been repaired and now do not look so characterful. Glad that I took the photograph when I did.”
Three Sheds– Original sketch actual painting size measures 150mm (6″) (H) x 310mm (12″) (W).
Framed the overall size is 310mm (12″) (H) x 460mm (18″) (W). It has been framed in a double off-white mount with a distressed gold and float glass. There is a hanging system on the back of the frame.
