Slater’s Bridge- Photographic Print by Andy Beck. One of the most popular locations in the English Lake District. This ancient stone bridge is in Little Langdale and was built in the 17th century to aid the local quarrymen on their route to and from work. It spans the River Brathay.

Andy Beck is a full time artist based in Teesdale in the north Pennines of England. Perhaps he is best known for his award winning book, The Wainwrights in Colour. A unique 10 year challenge which gave him an intimate insight to Alfred Wainwright’s work and the Lakeland Fells. As well as painting, Andy is a keen photographer and uses many of his images as reference for his artwork. These images are often produced as cards or prints such as this.
