Dun Beag Broch- Original Sketch

This is an original artwork by Teesdale artist Andy Beck. It has been produced using the pen and wash method, watercolour painting with a black pen outline. It was produced from a reference photograph which Andy took on his visit to the Isle of Skye in April 2024.

Dun Beag Broch is an iron age hill fort close to the small village of Struan. It is the best preserved broch on the island and is easy accessible.

Framed the overall size is 275mm (10.5″) (H) x 350mm (13.5″) (W). It has been framed in a double off-white mount with a narrow flat oak frame and float glass. There is a hanging system on the back of the frame.
