Crossing the Border

£325.00£395.00

Crossing the Border Watercolour Painting.

An original watercolour painting of red grouse passing The Frying Pan Stone on the Yorkshire, Durham border.

“I had a walk up to Elsey Crag one evening. This rock outcrop has this distinctive feature, known as The Frying Pan Stone. This lies on the border between two grouse moors, Arkengarthdale and Scargill. Here we are looking north from the first to the second. Even though it was the first week in May there had been a covering of snow during the day, the last patches were still in the shadows.

This is an original watercolour painting by Andy Beck.

The image size is 280mm (11″ approx.) (h) x 390mm (15.5″ approx.) (w)

There are two options to purchase this Crossing the Border work. Either just with a mount (double mounted in off white, 410mm x 535mm overall ) or fully framed. A warm grey painted wood frame (410mm x 535mm glass size) with a conservation quality double soft white mount and glazed with float glass. The system for hanging is in place on the rear of the frame.

Cost:

Original painting in mount: £325.00 plus postage (added at checkout) (UK mainland only, please email before purchasing if you would like shipping to other locations). This will incur an additional charge.
