Bowes Castle- Original Sketch

This is an original artwork by Teesdale artist Andy Beck. It has been produced using the pen and wash method, watercolour painting with a black pen outline.

Bowes Castle is located in Bowes village, 5 miles from the market town of Barnard Castle. The ruins of the medieval keep are on the site of the roman fort.

Bowes Castle– Original sketch actual painting size measures 155mm (6″) (H) x 220mm (8.5″) (W).

Framed the overall size is 310mm (12″) (H) x 370mm (14.5″) (W). It has been framed in a double off-white mount with a flat black wooden frame and float glass. There is a hanging system on the back of the frame.
