The low winter sun burns through the mist as a new day dawns at Gilmonby, near Barnard Castle, County Durham.
A greeting card from a photograph by artist Andy Beck, one of a range of cards depicting scenes of Teesdale in County Durham.
Each card measures 7ʺx 5ʺ, is printed on 350gsm recycled card left blank inside for your own message, and is supplied with an envelope made from recycled paper. Andy Beck is a full time artist based in Teesdale in the north Pennines of England. Perhaps he is best known for his award winning book, The Wainwrights in Colour. A unique 10 year challenge which gave him an intimate insight to Alfred Wainwright’s work and the Lakeland Fells. As well as painting, Andy is a keen photographer and uses many of his images as reference for his artwork. These images are often produced as cards such as this.
