Topographical features: The Wainwright summit and the true summit are at the same point, a small cairn on a rock platform near the edge of the crags. To the north the ground rises to a higher point of Glade How which is not part of the area of Buckbarrow.
Points of interest: Look out for the perched and split boulder illustrated by Wainwright (Buckbarrow 3)

Waterfalls: Some cascades in Tongues Gill on the eastern slopes of the fell.
