Topographical features: The Wainwright summit is at the large tall cairn near the end of the old wall on the summit. Re-surveying has found that a higher point can be found 170m south east on a fairly flat area of grass and heather, this is classed as the true summit.
Points of interest:
Tarns: No major tarns to speak of but there are a couple of small pools or water to the east of the Wainwright summit, just on the north side of the footpath.
Waterfalls: None
Adjoining Fells: Lord’s Seat, Graystones.
