Topographical features: The Wainwright summit is the large cairn on the flat top of the fell but the true summit is a rock 35m to the south west.
Points of interest: The historic route of Moses’ Trod contours the western slopes of the fell.
Tarns: A group of reasonably sized tarns are located at Gillercomb Head south of the summit.
