Goredale Scar Watercolour Painting.
Goredale Scar is an impressive feature of the limestone geology of the Yorkshire Dales close to the popular village of Malham. The Scar is a popular tourist atttraction in it’s own right.
“I wanted to try and capture the magnitude of the scene on what was a rather wet day. The cliffs tower above the waterfall which flows over a jumble of limestone rocks and boulders, a barrier which can prevent further exploration up into the gorge beyond.”

This is an original watercolour painting by Andy Beck.
The image size is 335mm (13″ approx) (h) x 245mm (9.5″ approx) (w)
It is fully framed in a wood frame with a conservation quality double soft white mount and glazed with float glass. The system for hanging is in place on the rear of the frame.
