Topographical features: The Wainwright summit is marked with a small cairn at GR: NY 44227 12772 the true summit though is some distance away, 150m north east, directly north of the tarns. Oddly named Ramsgill on the 1′” & 2 1/2″ OS map of the day but on the 6 inch map and Bartholemews 1 inch map it is Rampsgill.
